LyseTur AS started in spring 2019 with its own 52-foot Princess P52, MY Elise. Personal charter trips from Stavanger and Ryfylke marked the beginning.

From the first boat to a wider selection of experiences: LyseTur has evolved, while the wish to create good moments at sea has remained.
Spring 2020 · Xenon
As the pandemic affected international travel, LyseTur developed experiences for Norwegians holidaying at home. Distancing rules required one to two metres between each person, so we could not sail at full capacity. To give guests more space on board, we acquired a new and larger boat — Xenon, a Princess 20M — which made the trip far more spacious.
2024 – A new direction
In 2024, Xenon was sold, and LyseTur moved from owning its own boat to arranging experiences through local partnerships. This opened up more possibilities, a wider selection of boats and even better trips for our guests.
With this change, we could better tailor the boat and itinerary to each experience — from personal fjord cruises and shellfish experiences to fishing trips and social outings for companies and groups of friends.

Today we arrange boat experiences with local partner boats in Rogaland. LyseTur is a brand under Rennaren Utleie AS, part of the Rennaren group. Our vision remains: “The sea is for everyone to enjoy.”
